We need a better, more ambitious message when it comes to taxation. The rich *do not* fund our public services. We do. My latest for New Internationalist.

I’m sorry to say this yet again, but I’ve been saying it for several years: the secret backstory of #Brexit is that from its Bush-era inception, the vision was always to make Britain the de facto 51st state of a GOP-run USA, and go “bucaneering” together.
The British far-right aren't making any secret of what they want for the UK. They're literally printing it in headlines.
Ceding all forms of autonomy to Trump is now a well-established position within Britain's media and among British media owners.

Behind the sleek design of IKEA lies a harsh reality: your purchase directly funds the occupation of Palestinian land.
While IKEA delivers to illegal settlements, it turns its back on the very people whose homes were destroyed to build them.

Why are the American president's claims about autism the first item on British news bulletins?

He's not our president, the advice doesn't apply here and he's not presented any evidence to support his assertions.

So why spread these claims? What make this the biggest story in the UK?

Brexit has been a disaster & has resulted in even more inequality.

And instead of take any responsibility - Reform always say it's someone elses fault.

We need to always call out these lies.

„The role of the Lebanese army is extremely dubious, but 100% in Israel’s favour. The Lebanese army is fully under US control. Literally, 50% of the salary of every single Lebanese soldier is directly paid by the US Government.“
