Probably my favorite standalone book. It deserves more recognition.

Don’t let people say that the stormlight archive is a bad starting place, I’ve loved reading the other books and getting to learn what I missed or didn’t understand was a reference. Just have fun with it tbh.

I heard the same but I disagree, I was into it after I read the prologue. I started on storm light archive (which I’ve now been told I should’ve started elsewhere) and now I’m nearly caught up on the whole cosmere in less than a year.

I’m jealous you get to read it for the first time. It’s a heavy series but it is so worth it. Journey before destination!
