Fern was really confident he could fit on the cat tree with Bertie.

My husband is convinced one of our cats is a Nebelung, despite the fact that said cat was born in a hoarding situation somewhere in Southern California. The rescue also said he was a Main Coon Mix. He isn’t. He just has long-ish hair.

I spent this afternoon taking a stained glass workshop where I got to make a portrait of one of our cats. It was super fun, and while I may have a lot to learn, I am still happy with the results!

Family time!

My husband and I always exchange one gift on Christmas Eve, and this year, he surprised me with a ring made from a 1950s pattern Disneyland souvenir spoon. It was something I sent him months ago, and he managed to snag it before it sold - the rings are hard to come by, as the spoons are rare!

For the last 8 years, this person has sent my husband a Christmas card addressed to him and his ex wife.

She has kept up with us through 4 moves, but somehow had never caught on that he is remarried.

I decided to send her a card back, addressed to Jennifer.

Her name is Jessica.

We did Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, so today, we visited an aquarium with family.
