The Jimmy Butler situation with the #MiamiHeat reminds me of Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros.:
A great partnership until the end, which was ugly and quickly deteriorated, resulting in Nolan leaving and finally winning his Oscar.

I know I’m in the minority on this one, but #TheSubstance was pretty awful.
Outside of a good Demi Moore performance, this story was a mess and the movie is overly long.

I never expected #Moana2 to have the same charm as the first, but I expected it to at least have charm.

I just got around to watching #DuneProphecy and…
Ep 1 didn’t grab me. Outside of the exposition dumps, there wasn’t a storyline that hooked me. They’re planting seeds of mystery with Desmond Hart, but everything else?

Rewatched NICKEL BOYS for a fourth time today as part of Black Harvest Film Festival, and I once again cried during the film’s final montage. This film is an immaculately crafted picture, one so clearly in conversation with a mountain of texts (academic, archival and personal).
