Played Suikoden 1 for the first time because of the remaster. Glad I got to experience it finally after beating the second game on the vita years ago.

Had fun, would play again. Though I do feel Suikoden 2 executed some of its themes better (going off of memory) and had a stronger impact

in case someone needs to hear this:

the main, uniquely numbered final fantasy entries are all new stories with new characters that you do not need knowledge from previous entries to play. you can just play whichever one looks the coolest to you.
