I guess I’m not really speaking about developer tooling here but more consumer applications using AI.
Like you couldn’t use those memories in git to inform the search results you see on Bluesky.

Not only is AI not a fad but #atproto could make it a lot better for everyone.
Once we have personal-private data, your PDS could be your AI provider proxy.
Use any model you want and have the memories stored on the PDS.
It’s a better UX than what any one company could ever offer.

Not only is AI not a fad but #atproto could make it a lot better for everyone.

Honestly I don’t think Web3 made it out of the tech industry. For 99% of the world there is no baggage.
Even as someone in tech I had only a vague knowledge that it was a term people used.
I think we can impute whatever definition we want as long as it helps normal people understand.

Yeah I had a week where I was trying out Effect too and had similar feelings.

We might know something isn’t working but not be clear on how to solve it.

I’d say start with one or the other or make something less social (ex. Spotify)
