I think the goal of the show is to bring in the young viewers, because us old farts aren't going to be around much longer to support the franchise.

I actually thought it was better than I expected, but I am starving for some good sci-fi now that The Expanse is finished.

Agreed. All I ask for from winter is a stretch of very cold weather long enough to kill off some of the nasty bugs, critters, weeds, and diseases that hit my plants and trees. As far as I am concerned, it can be 70 degrees all winter so long as we get a week of 0 degree temps.
