Oh, so the Washington Post is now a toady for oligarchs? Good to know. Millions cheering? The people of Latin America are not cheering the exercise of American power to support American oil. The hypocrisy of "democratic values" could not be clearer. A generation of people will never trust the US.

It is changing into that now, but it was not the case in the (recent) past. It has gone through the ugly changes that "drink" is going through now. Everyone is saying "I have drank", as well, though it's nails on a blackboard for me.

The rule now is that if you don't know the rules you always say "I", right or wrong, so you sound educated. If you don't know or care about grammar at all, you always say "me", right or wrong. If you do know the rules of grammar and care about them, you're quaint.
