I think the indoctrination of children in religion is what leads to the ignorance we see today, the election of Trump and belief in all of the conspiracy theories that have captured peoples brains. Religion does not teach critical thinking. So, no to more Christianity.

I really like The Affirmations of Humanism: A Statement of Principles by Paul Kurtz, in the front cover of Free Inquiry. Humanism puts our morality where it should be, on people and emphasizes reason, science, kindness, justice, etc.

I was frustrated by the interviews premise that we need a comeback of "better" or "thick" Christianity. The less the better of all religions, in my book. I think teaching reason and science beats supernaturalism every time. I still feel like a evangelical atheist these days.

Agreed. I just sent a correction to Apple Maps about the incorrect name for Gulf of Mexico. I also told them they should be ashamed of themselves. I have used Apple products my whole adult life and would chuck them all for what you describe above.
