I'm guessing the owner doesn't do a lot of volume swells :-D

Another banger! \m/ Really looking for the album release. Keep rippin' it up Wolf!

I guess the obvious problem is: How many people would still recognize it as Africa is it's not oriented the way they are used to seeing it on a map?

That neck configuration would also give you the big Mauritania/Mali/Algeria region for better volume/tone control layout. Attach the neck to Southern Somalia, and the cost of Kenya allows for upper-fret access. I think they missed a bet here.

So, vol/vol/tone/tone? Vol/tone neck vol/tone bridge? I'm honestly not sure which configuration I'd hate more. I think both volumes then both tones would be the best... maybe...

Ooooooo... if anyone cares, this guitar was listed on Reverb and there are more pictures. The listing ended, but it's still online. I'm not sure about the rules for linking off site, but searching "johnson betty boop guitar" pulled it right up.

Think they missed a bet not going the other way. Have her feet/shoes be the headstock, and you play running your hand up and down her legs instead of her neck. I'm probably taking this way too literal. I'll see myself out. Great choice for a weird guitar. I see that Kahler bridge.

I'd really like to know what the thinking is behind this. Maybe different tuning for each neck? You could "switch guitars" during a song. I suppose that would provide some different song writing options... but it's probably just to be weird... which I fully support.

I do love both an RR Jackson and Anthrax, but this certainly an Odd Ball. This also reminds me that I should play my 12string more :-D

Forgot to mention, loved the tuning banter 😄

BRILLIANT! Such fantastic musicianship! You guys are still killin' it!

Pretty sure this 50 years or so too late, and honestly not relay "news" to anyone paying attention. I'm certainly not suggesting that it shouldn't be reported on. Anyone who doesn't already know it really should. It's just not exactly "breaking news".

Ibanez Iceman, which is an upside down Fireman. I'm not gonna tell Paul Gilbert he's wrong, but I don't like either one of 'em :-P That's the fun part, right? To each their own, just just give each other the same respect.

I'll be honest: I was expecting a LOT more spaghetti.

I really, seriously want to see how that thing is wired up. Four single coils with six switches? Yeah, I want to see that.

Ooooooooooooo... I like it! I'm sure I'd never be able to afford it, but I like the look.

Read the "can opener" line, and cannot un-see it \m/

Go home Tele, you're drunk. Maybe it's just me, but it's not that weird at first. It's all parts and configurations I recognize. However, the longer I look, the stranger it gets. I'd love to play one and see if it feels as weird as it looks.

That is both amazing and horrifying. I showed my soldering iron, and I believe it wept a tear. Might need to have that looked at.

First thought before reading a word, "Did they build a synth into that thing?". Looks like I was a couple of decades off 😆

One of those "Man, I'm glad we didn't have cell phone back then" situations :-D
