bluesky’s algorithm seems more resistant to user input, ie you have to interact a lot more to really tailor your feed. what you see is a lot of what “base” bluesky is if you were to make a new account. compare that with something like youtube, where you only need a few subscriptions to change it up

one thing i’ve noticed about starter packs is that you can easily drown out the voices you want to hear with, essentially, randos. it’s like a follower flashbang
