The inspiration for the Roman salute is this painting, The Oath of the Horati. The Fascist party adopted this salute, and the Nazis liked it and made it their own.

You're telling me that some McDonald's employee saw Luigi and "recognized" him from this photo? This one? Were they calling in every man that looks like this? I can think of people I know who look similar to this, no one called the FBI on them.
