I passed a veteran as we rode bikes around SSI the other day. I said, “Thank you for your service.” He responded with, “You’re welcome. You were worth it.” I was beyond touched by his response. America is worth it. If you’re thankful for nothing else today, be thankful and proud to be an American.

The DOE spends $500,000,000 a year on employee salaries, the average of which is over $125,000. Meanwhile many teachers need a second job in the summer to make ends meet. Make that make sense. #abolishtheDOE
