Anyways I'm Red and my penchant for drawing curvy women often leads me down the path of comics.

Nothing new for Halloween as this autumn has been quite tiring and I am working on a comic. So I am reposting my old sexy and scary picture of Kathryn as a vampire with a fair bit of blood anf menacing behaviour. And this is a chance to update the warnings for this one.

Absolutely, because you need to develop a working knowledge of the structure of the things you are drawing. Even drawing cartoon horses requires you to look at actual horses to get an idea of how their body works.

If you don't, your art might end up like this:

It is an overhead backshot of the character The Blob who is quite large, fat, and strong, but the perspective and proportions are nightmarish mockery of the human form, with his right arm a distended monstrosity that does not follow proper foreshortening. His back muscles are a series of bumps with clumsy hatching that only vaguely resemble a back. His tiny head is perched uneasily atop his form looking like a sweet potato with leafy burgundy fuzz growing atop it. And this is one Liefeld's better panels.

Now Mavuika is the cavalry!

Because this was organized around the idea of her hair flaring into flames this was a little cleaner shading wise and I was able to darken up her skin.

I'm Red. I love sketching my OCs and am currently working on a comic that I have to ready for a con in the second weekend of July. The deadline makes it a big deal, but so does the fact that it's my first proper comic!
