Neat! One of my professors gave me his old copy and I started reading it about 2 weeks ago. Knowing what happened to Bloch gives the book a haunting undertone.

I used to drive past this barn on the way to Morgantown when I attended West Virginia University back in the 1980s. A similar barn today might say "DOGE Legal Thieves A Musk/Trump Monopoly"

So the gist of the article is that tried and succeeded at buying an election. And now through DOGE, he wants to shape it in a way that suits him and his cronies.

The problem with the Globe and Mail is that it represents yet one more obscure website offering an article that I might wish to read, but it's totally paywalled. I don't mind paying for journalism, but clickbait headlines are all too often a bridge to nowhere.
