Last three days have been a high anxiety blur because of a mouse in my apartment. Needed something low stress to do today so we did "frogs".

This one is a lesson in knowing when to stop.

Day 9! Give it up for day 9!

Today we did "grassy biome" music (heavily Zelda inspired) as well as a quick five minute "anti-piracy screen" as a laugh
Also I solved a Rubik's cube in 2:12 - not terribly impressive by any standards but it's something!

Day 8 and we did cave music!

Much more subdued today. One of the things I love about the samples from this era (ie Zero-G's Datafile) is how well they handle being crushed into tiny bits to make space.

Day 7! Getting into a groove with things. I think the finished product of this "mechanical level" is currently my favourite of this year's output. Chat was vibing alongside me the whole time. Bonus two karaoke sessions and one 3x3 cube solve at the end.

Day 6 - had to stream early (working tonight) so decided to do something a little more low key. Kept to the M1 for instruments again. I'm finding that, while the vibes are impeccable, it's harder to make the M1 sit in a mix than more modern offerings (ie Trinity).

Day 3 was "ghost house (house that is a ghost)". Played with the idea of it being a boss fight after clearing the level - used the main motif from the ghost house level and reinterpreted it in a more intense orchestration.

Day 2 was "ghost house (house that contains ghosts)". Playing more with sample packs from the era (mainly Zero-G in this one with some Distorted Reality as well) but the Trinity pulls its weight here, too. This one was fun to do, but I was getting sleepy by the end.

Day 1 was scoring a "meeting an authority figure" which I interpreted as entering a King's court. Also the King is a cat. As this is the first track I've done, I'm getting used to using the Korg Trinity for the first time here.
