I consider myself a 7, like I imagine many here. Generally I'm one of the 'rules guys' at my LGS, plus I've played MTGO, which has to count for something!

Something I've been having a ton of fun with at my LGS, and I bet would work well on camera too. Give to the pilot who most enjoys dumb artifacts and taking peoples toys.

I think you've mostly hit the nail on the head. They've been shunned, and now had a deep desire to do the shunning. You'd think that the community (at large) would want more people to come into your nerddom.
