I couldn’t walk 500m.
Now I’m running far.
Not for medals—
but because I had to learn how to heal.
The hospital didn’t help me move again.
Movement did.
The body remembers.
The body rebuilds.

I didn’t know it yet, but everything was changing.

Summer 2010.
Bike tour across Canada.

This week’s story drops into BC—
Field to Golden.

No place to sleep, but strangers made space.

A random metal bar, too many drinks, and a shift I didn’t notice till later.

This one’s for anyone who’s ever burned out trying to follow someone else’s plan.
It’s about Ironmans, injury, running through ego—and coming back to your own flow.

Whether you train, create, or just live hard…
You might feel this one.

Climbing Mt. Whistlers on my 32nd birthday.
Jasper skies. Dogma in my head. Love beside me.

“That mountain became a crossroads.
One path was acceptance.
The other was rigid devotion.”

This one hurt to write.
But it’s part of the climb.

AI doesn’t run my life.
It helps me listen.

New video on how I use AI as a mirror—especially in the context of neurodivergence, trauma, and creative rhythm.

Stillness isn’t the absence of training —
it’s where the nervous system resets,
the breath returns,
and the body learns how to hold itself again.

This is yoga too.
In the breath. In the pause. In your willingness to stay.

I biked from my dad’s to the Toronto temple.
Then from the temple to my grandmother’s house in Lindsay.
Didn’t know it would be the last time I’d see her.

But what if it’s just a mirror—
and most of us were never taught how to reflect?

Before the city wakes, I run.

Not for pace. Not for distance. But to remember rhythm.

This isn’t exercise—it’s exhale. A moving meditation. A return to the Self through will and breath.

I arrived at the temple carrying more than a backpack.

Montreal, 2016.
Another train. Another version of me.
Some stories aren’t about arrival.
They’re about what falls off on the way.

This scroll remembers.

As I move into the sun,
the breath contains me.

As I run and walk
through the twilight hours,
I set myself free—
away from the noise,
absolutely absorbed in the presence.

Awareness, the time I’m out—
nothing else matters,
as I’m one with consciousness.

It steadies the body from the inside out.

The lake doesn’t ask you to hurry.
It just holds.
A mirror. A rhythm.
A place where time softens and your breath remembers its own depth.

Sit by the water with me.
Let go,
Not with effort—
But like a leaf drifting downstream.

The wind almost ended the trip.
Instead, it led me to a river, a plaque, and a Rudyard Kipling poem I’d never read before.

It cracked something open.

As time shifts around us,

people and energy change.

What once was no longer is.

Who may have been in your circle

no longer aligns.

Some are closer, others gone—

maybe to return,

or never seen again.

Embrace today, absorb into now.

Left Halifax in 2010 on a bike with no real plan.
No GPS. No guide.
By the second night, I was alone—with 6,500 km ahead of me.

The first few days nearly broke me.
