I used to have a manufacturing company with big machines. I told my employees not to put their hands in the machine. If they followed that advice 99.99% of the time, we would only lose about one hand a week. But I put guards on the machine and no hands were lost.

Anyway, the shooter was a professional as reported in the news and I think it’s likely he was sent by someone rather than a deranged individual. More will emerge. I think of the German false flag attack to start the invasion of Poland in WW2.

I can tell you that the NG person knew what he was doing and put out about 5 return shots very quickly. Probably a surprise to the shooter who expected to get away. Horrible scene.

When the shooting went down, I was walking to the Whitehouse with protest signs as I often do. I didn’t see the shooter, but I saw the National Guardsman return fire. I was right across 17th street from the location. NG people were running and the return was in seconds.

The point isn't to get people to love it. It's to wake people up. Lots of people are grumpy when they wake up, but they become conscious.
