This was similar but demanded something else. It has made it more difficult to find a home for and I’m extra pleased that @davidestringel.bsky.social took the time to contact me and ask what was going on what the motivation was before making a decision to include it, an editor who actually reads!

and then the next in mind and I try not to edit except in the moment. So it sat for a while and then it occurred to me that it wanted to go again, and again. In my poetry I often find myself in repeats when a word or phrase just won’t leave, not so much by choice as by a compellingness.
