In prep of making a comic, I've decided to shift my art style back toward what it was previous to me posting here on bsky. Now with all my new anatomical knowledge, this style looks much better. I'm gonna redo the references for others and practice some facial expressions, then comes the comic

I love drawing this kinda of chaotic lighting. Just in general, this piece was a lot of good practice for the comic I'm going to make. I'm learning to lean more on painting and less on pure line art.

I love comparing old and new art. This is the first time I drew Hyde and her new reference. She might as well be a completely different character now. Her personality before was a lot more stoner, but in my upcoming comic she's really nothing like that.

Every time I'm exposed to hazbin stuff I think to myself how easily I could fit right into that fandom as a person who already draws a lot of similar themes and somewhat similar characters, but I've not watched it and don't love what I did see from the pilot. I'm also just not a huge fan artist.

Updated Maneater's reference and gave her clothes. This is specifically an outfit for her job as a combat-based performer, hence the clownish design and scythe.

Sometimes I worry about little fiddly bit of my art and think maybe something looms too flat or off angle and then I remeber there are people in this world who draw hair under the eyes and refuse to draw a defined nose. Its fine, dude.
