Apologies if it seems we've been quiet but am happy to announce that a BIG data update has gone into the museum in the last couple of days - about 285 additional match lineups have been added so we're now reasonably complete back to the start of the #afcb 1997/98 season.

We've got a substantial number of results from the pre-football league era now entered into the site.
Player profiles - we've got through the C's and are now into the D's..

It's often said that terrace songs grew popular in the 60s with popular music.. but they date back to as early as the 1920s with fans singing local folk songs and music hall songs.
We've discovered that in the 1920s at Boscombe, the fans would sing a folk song called 'Cherry Ripe'.

Saturday was the 23rd time #afcb have been involved in a penalty shootout. We have now won 11 and lost 12, the first ever being a 7-6 win away at Millwall in the Associate Members' Cup - which we went on to win!

Nice little update pushed in this evening - Southern League results from 1920-21 to 1922-23 have been added, and our club name should now be correct at the point in time of each match..
