Yeah they shed their bark at the end of the growing season (usually summer-ish). The new bark is lighter in color and darkens to orange or red over the year.

They’re close relatives so they resemble each other a lot!

He’s told them off a lot, just in his mind he thinks it’s been 100 times (it’s been much less than that)

Brubafa (Apruba paranthropus) are perissodactyls, meaning their closest living relatives are tapirs and rhinos, and more distantly horses! They’re specifically ancylopods, meaning they are of close relation to the extinct chalicotheres.
