In my last 10 years as a federal worker, I have: evacuated people from abroad during the COVID outbreak; helped American women escape abuse or forced marriages; assisted Americans fleeing Afghanistan; reunited families through immigrant visas; communicated safe routes to Americans to escape Ukraine.
