I do think they should have a way to disable media editing apps (and remixing) in the account settings and I'm def not defending the poor taste in implementation here. I'd say more but I shoulda bit my tongue and recognized I don't collect my thoughts well on a 250 character limit

god I wish discord would be transparent about anything for once. admittedly I'm on my phone and this is only on desktop right now; if that's the case it's incredibly tone deaf to push it as a preview. they really haven't done themselves any favors regarding AI these past few years

also not how it works. they don't host bots the creator of the bot does

they failed to read the room and added a poor choice of promotion to the ui. but those pictured cannot be used unless they have explicitly beed added to the server, on purpose, by mods. if the server does not have them added they cannot be used on your uploads into it
