Watching the press conference, I wanted to tell Vance and Trump to shove it, while giving Zelensky a hug. He is a hero, and didn't deserve that level of disrespect.

I literally felt sick watching it.

If I were Rubio, listening to the spectacle happening in front of the cameras.. I would have lost my shit. I probably would have stood up, told Vance to shut his mouth as I walked away (and asking Zelensky if he wanted to join me). But... He didn't.

Whatever the response, I also am fearful that it will somehow divide the unity that has built up in Canada as Canadians of different political stripes assess and judge the Canadian Governments reaction.

I think we should keep our Tariffs in place until the USA stops the flow of illegal guns to Canada that are causing havoc in our cities, stops the flow of illegal immigrants to Canada, and stops the flow of illicit drugs to Canada (which really are pouring into Canada from the USA)

As a Canadian, I am worried about what our response will be. We shouldn't revert our plans for a 30 day extension, this is just playing games. If we don't back down, Trump will position it as Canada is "unfairly" attacking US and he must respond to protect the USA. If we do, he will say he won.

In the last month, I have subscribed to both Wired and Rolling Stone. Two sources that do not seem to be afraid to speak up.
