This is so on the nose. This is a LAWLESS regime that must be replaced, root and stem. Nothing less than true reconstruction or denazification will meet the moment.

The slow Biden/Garland approach did not work. Republicans will not roust or shun the most dangerous members of their tribe. Need to implement swift reconstruction and denazification level initiatives. Nothing less.

Some primary-voting Dems want what best resembles “disruptive change” (maybe a “ghoul”). If Dems want to unwind the Trump disasters AND build safeguards to prevent future Trumps, we know the Biden/Garland approach failed and we need something akin to Reconstruction or denazification.

Sure. Maybe. Or he couldn’t successfully open the app etc. these are all arguments that are relevant and notable and a jury could consider them during a criminal trial for, I’d guess, second degree homicide (shot one) and attempted murder (ensuing shots).

Horrible enough, I also expect that the state presently has the victim’s body and maybe even the vehicle. A lot of forensic evidence available! If the state investigator asserts an evidence problem, it is BS for him to fail to be specific. Is he missing the gun? The testimony of the other Feds?

Many eyewitnesses. So much video. So the killer’s office is obscuring or hiding some evidence? Cool he can use that in his defense, maybe? There must be prosecutors chomping at the bit to prosecute this case. Keith Ellison and Walz need to pursue justice and get state investigators and cops in line.

What was done with the former nazis after WWII? What would a Lincolnian reconstruction have been?

Acclaimed already, but the best book I read in 2025: “Stay True” by Hua Hsu. Vibrant and loving and caused me all sorts of calm and joyful and sad reminiscences.

Everything. Many open spaces. Public schools with soccer and baseball fields. Safe road biking. Ski resorts that are required to comprehensively subsidize local children skiing. And many adults eager to coach and teach outdoor sports and activities—fishing and X-country skiing and mountain biking.

This book is a genuine masterpiece. Especially fascinating was the period when Custer stumped alongside a campaigning Andrew Johnson. So prescient and insightful.
