Flare selfie. Pain levels are ridiculous today. If I didn't have a chronic illness I would have called an ambulance. Meds are barely touching it and I'm at maximum dosage. Hoping its a short-lived flare. #fuckfibromyalgia ##fibrowarrior

This little guy hasn't left his sensory sock for the last week, and school is back in 2 days. Wish me luck preparing him for the transition to his new school, and clothes, and other people, and early mornings...oh, yeah. It's going to be a complete shitstorm isn't it?🤦🏼♀️

My non-verbal autistic 5 year old has buried himself under the cushions with the TV remote most of the day. He eventually managed to regulate himself enough to request popcorn through PECS. The transition from school to holidays is always hard for him.

Happy chocolate egg day/easter/420, depending on what you're celebrating. I'm diabetic so the chocolate is, unfortunately, out. I have low sugar snacks for after my 420 celebration. It's prescribed so needed for pain rather than for fun, but you work with what you got. 🤷🏼♀️

Family day at the zoo. Even using the scooter I'm exhausted. I guess it's my own fault for not waiting till I'd completely recovered from my flare. I miss too many of these moments through illness, I have to at least try.

I had one of those moments this morning. I tried to get out of bed 6 different ways to be stopped by the pain. Then I cried. Said to my husband. I just want it to stop hurting. Just for a little while. I know it won't. It feels better to let it out sometimes. Then back to the battle. #fibromyalgia

Watching my 8yo train for her upcoming national judo tournament end of this month. She's won gold in her first 2 district tournaments so this may be a tough one even with the extra training 🤞🥋💪

It's the little wins that give me hope for the future. My 4yo is pre-verbal and autistic and struggles to communicate his wants and needs with words. Tonight, he used these cards to tell me 'tv off' and 'bedtime'. The first time he's told me he's ready for bed. I'm so proud 🥹 #autismhero
