Its #RYUKITAWEEK2025 yet again!! Here’s my piece for day one :)

a foreign feeling

yesterday was the 7th annual kiss ryuji day!!!
A 5-panel comic set in the LeBlanc attic. The colors are mainly orange, red, and purple. In the first panel, Ryuji is asleep against Yusuke’s shoulder while he draws, as they are seated on the protagonist’s bed. In the next panel, Yusuke glances over to Ryuji. In the next panel, Yusuke leans in to kiss Ryuji as he’s asleep. This wakes Ryuji up, though he is still in a haze and has no idea what woke him up. In the final and largest panel, we zoom out to see that the protagonist, Makoto, Ann, and Morgana were all in the room and witnessed this. The protagonist’s jaw is dropped, and Morgana has his face pressed to the table and is covering his ears with his paws in agony. Confused, Ryuji asks, “...what?” as Yusuke smiles knowingly next to him. A color sketch of Ryuji and Yusuke in their Phantom Thieves outfits. In the top left in purple text it says “KISS RYUJI DAY 2024!”. In the bottom left of the image, Yusuke has pounced on Ryuji, with his tail wagging in excitement. Ryuji is slapping Yusuke’s leg trying to get him to ease off so he can breathe.

Comic page. In the first panel, Ryuji is sitting on Yusuke's folded-up futon reading a manga in his dormitory, and Yusuke is busy working at his easel. In the background is a box with a basket of fruit and a canvas propped up on the wall. In the second panel, Ryuji's eye is drawn to the fruits. In the third panel, he looks at Yusuke with an eyebrow quirked in questioning. He says, "Hey Yusuke - are you still drawin' that bowl of fruit over there?". In the last panel, Yusuke leans away from his easel to address Ryuji. He replies, "Well, I was earlier...but I have since moved on to a different piece." Second page. Ryuji says, "Gotcha." as he crouches on the floor to grab the basket with all of the fruit on it. In the following panel, he walks out of the room and adds, "I'm gonna borrow your kitchen for a second." Yusuke does not respond. The following three panels feature a sequence of Ryuji reaching up into the cabinets for a cutting board and plate, a close shot o him peeling an orange, and an even closer shot of him slicing an apple. Final page. In the first panel, a low shot of Ryuji holding the plate and looking contemplative as he re-enters the room. In the second and third panels, he exits the foreground and sits on the floor next to Yusuke, who has not budged from his easel or even noticed that Ryuji has left and returned. In the second to last panel, Ryuji reaches up to hold an apple slice near Yusuke's mouth to see if he will eat it, and Yusuke's mouth opens on reflex. In the last panel, Ryuji laughs when Yusuke eats it unconsciously.

RYUKITA WEEK DAY 4: HANGOUT SPOT

i miss the beach!!!

ryuji helping yusuke learn how to play the bass for DAY 3: IMPROVING STATS
