On reading Cecil Woodham-Smith’s account of the #GreatHunger in Ireland in the 1840s & the symptoms of #starvation in the children. You just can’t help but compare it to today’s crises. It is so, so wrong for children to be starving in the 21st century in a world of plenty. #IrishHistory #Gaza
