Overall I feel sad, let down and just overall disappointed with the apparent unnecessary change of direction they decided to take...

Also, no mention of the wild hunt! We've only had subtle mentions since the first season, cultimating in characters having encounters with them and the whole world understanding their implications but no that's not a reference worth including in any way. Nope? Must have all been in my head...

I'm wondering if we're now truely seeing how important HC was to keeping the show at the quality it was. It was different, intruiging and full of thoughts of destiny and magic. Now it's a show which you don't need to put any effort or love into as the characters will tell you as they blow their nose

Having someone in the last episode who had been listening to the story say "but what about this person? What happened to them?" then cut to them and leave the whole season on a cliff hanger. What on earth was that? It just wasn't fun to watch...

The idea at the beginning of 'the story you've been told so far isn't quite right' and that the first 3 seasons has been a verbal retelling of the story whereas this season is direct from a book was interestinf at first but my god...

And have them constantly say what they're doing in that exact moment - "we need to get across this river" OBVIOUSLY! You're mid crossing it!!!...

If people found the witcher too confusing, they wouldn't be watching S4! You don't need to spell things out, having characters unnaturally explain magical links between them...

It's like someone googled "most asked questions about the Witcher show", took them to the writing room and said "people found the series confusing and these need to be answered so people scrolling on their phones, still know what's happening"...

Every character felt different, their dialogue didn't feel natural to them at all. Their actions felt rushed, relationships changed, stories seemed to be amended too...
