Season 2 wasn’t good because of the creative decisions that Craig made that strayed from the game, not because of being beholden to the game. The lack of Pedro Pascal was not the issue.

The dialogue between Ellie and Dina feels like a CW show at times. Finally, Ellie’s anger and rage is not portrayed well. She shouldn’t be so jokey and cheery and then in the same episode have the tone change in the Nora scene.

This was a beautiful episode. I wish Neil was more involved with the writing of this season because the characterization of Ellie as an incompetent, obnoxious, child-like idiot is nothing like the game character. It’s rushed - not enough episodes in Seattle to flesh out the story.

Clickers are completely blind, stalkers are not. Also, while the show hasn’t said they’re called stalkers, Ellie said “they do what we do…stalking.”

Minor correction about the “smart clicker” that you referenced. This type of infected is called a stalker.

Some people had that criticism of the second game, but an alternative storyline would frankly be somewhat redundant and less bold. You don’t have a full grasp of the story with the seasons being split up the way they are if you haven’t played the game.

I listened to all of the episodes of Decoding TV’s coverage of The Penguin before watching the show. There are certain shows and movies I don’t mind getting spoiled.

Except he’s a multi-billionaire and this effects his lifestyle in no way, just his ego.

Did you see that Tony Dalton is in it?
