and it was an "acceptle risk" for the russians (apparently) even though it contribute to the war economy, and thus, in my mind, a very legal target. 2 of 2 and cheers by the way, I appreciate chit-chatting, Sir.

I agree that Kursk was a mistake but it is an example of russia having to react to someone elses actions. WRT the sea. who has sea control now in the Black Sea? (freedom of movement) Sea denial? I just find it interesting that the "shadow fleet" has been allowed to go on for so long 1 of 2

But why do the attacks now? after all this time..what about the timing? And this after the "mighty russian navy" and its new "grand admiral", it is facinating to see the reaction/respons when the russians have to reply/response to an opponents actions. It is like watching the "chef rebellion" 1 of 2

Maybe yes, maybe no, maybe storm, maybe snow..as one friend told me. I always get jumpy and go... "wow, finally Krashuka-2 or Krashuka-4 is active. And I always forget, it is interference before, it is judged, assessed or proofed to be with intent.

Roger, I dont have the source(s) at hand now, but down in the Baltics, someone assessed or belived that AD radar from the S-300 or S-400 series interfered on SAR satellites. But is a submarinebase, and if the interference originates from there, I would presume a AD radar or jammer.

Peculiar SHF interference... hmmm, I wonder what jammers operate on SHF or is some sort of AD radar that interfer on that SHF frequency? I have never seen that kind of interference up in the high north.

Yeah, kinda makes sense especially with regards to C2 change, just weird to see, as you point out, no official announcement from Kremlin.

I see that the governor of Sevastopol also congratulated him and mentioned "...Under his leadership, successful tests of the latest weapons and ballistic missile firings were conducted." possible indication of his new rank or? thoughts?

Thord, have you seen any kind of claims why (achivements, goals met etc.) he received the rank or is it just given as a "honorable" rank?

"...fired several times" well pending what was used. Hopefully C-UAS rifles or C-UAS system, disabling the drone, so exploitation would be smooth.

Funny thing Sir, FLAK - Flug abwehr kanone. Well as one tommy pilot said during WW1 "archie, certainly not today" before it was known as FLAK. It will be interesting to see how russia respons, when someone is taking the initiative, which I do not presume that the russians are used to.
