Martin Kuziel is a former West Midlands regional organiser for PA. Kuziel has been instrumental in building ties between Homeland and the AfD. Last November, he met with Bundestag AfD MP Gunnar Lindemann in Warsaw, Poland, after a far-right conference.

Two former hosts are in prison for neo-Nazi terrorism offences. During the interview, Smith described himself as a "racial nationalist". Smith also boasted about launching PA’s fitness clubs with one of the hosts now in jail for sharing neo-Nazi terrorist manifestos.

In August 2021 Smith, then a national officer for PA, appeared on a podcast whose hosts routinely glorified terrorism. In other episodes, the podcast's hosts praised the Finsbury Park attacker and spoke of “teaching people how to Holocaust.”

Homeland chairman Kenny Smith is a former national administration officer for PA and a former candidate, Scottish regional organiser and head of administration for the British National Party.

Alec Cave, also a former PA member, lost an employment tribunal in 2023 after he was sacked from his job for racist social media posts. The judge presiding over the tribunal described Cave’s beliefs as “akin to Nazism”.

Anthony Burrows, a former East Midlands regional organiser for PA, had his shotguns seized by police after sharing links to neo-Nazi terrorist material and describing Adolf Hitler as “Uncle A” on social media.

Over 50 would-be attendees for the key far-right networking event were denied access to the venue after anti-fascists blocked entrances to the pub. Some chose to linger awkwardly outside, while others took one look at the anti-fascist picket and walked on past.

TBG was founded by a former leading figure in the Monday Club called Gregory Lauder-Frost. Lauder-Frost is a former accountant who lives in Mordington, Berwickshire. Lauder-Frost was fined £500 in 2019 for sending racist and threatening messages to a student on Facebook.

With the end of apartheid in South Africa and the collapse of the USSR, the Monday Club faded into irrelevance. Then in 2001, as part of an attempt to appear less racist, the Conservative Party cut ties with the club. Some sitting MPs and peers are former members.

The Monday Club was a white supremacist organisation started by members of the Conservative party in 1961, who were unhappy about the end of British rule in southern Africa. The club went on to exert a significant influence on Conservative government policy.

Speakers at TBG’s past events have included representatives of European governments and figures from prominent far-right parties across the continent. TBG emerged in 2001 following the demise of the Conservative Party-aligned Monday Club and the far-right Western Goals Institute.

In 2021, the TBG's Christmas social welcomed far-right YouTuber Thomas Rowsell. Rowsell promotes "Indo-European" history and Paganism. He has a large online following and has spoken at far-right events like the Generation Identity UK conference.

Last year, the TBG Christmas social was addressed by Rhodri Philipps. Philipps has faced multiple bankruptcies and legal issues, including a prison sentence for mismanagement of company funds. In 2017, he was convicted for making racially aggravated threats online.

The TBG Christmas social is a key networking event for the British far right. The location is kept secret and only revealed to attendees the day before. Attendees of this year's TBG conference included leading figures from Britain's largest fascist organisations.
