I’m hoping this is Bombus pascuorum (I’m a beginner).

I invented National Bullfinch Day (and why not?) on this date two years ago, so here’s a celebration.

Robin amongst the rose hips. These bushes down by the marina are normally smothered in Greenfinches, but I spotted this lone Robin and, in the spirit of the season, have shared it here.
