The process of learning a new chainmail weave:
1. *squinting* Did I put that ring in the right place??? *undoes it and relinks it exactly the same*
2. 😒 This weave is kinda lame, I don't think I like it. *continues working on it*
3. 😗 Damn this weave is actually pretty sick, I like it.

One of my fandom goals this year was to set up a fanfic tracker. I accomplished that late last month, backlogged all I'd read in Jan/Feb, and have been keeping it up by logging everything I read daily.
The numbers are blowing my mind. Nearly 1.5 million words in less than 3 months 🤯 #fanfic

I finished this small hoop the other day and am pretty pleased with how it turned out. I've been practicing my split-stitch which is what I used for the knife. The lettering is all whipped backstitch

Day 1 ~ Favorite Self Written Piece:
It's silly but my favorite is still the very first fanfic I wrote. Will 'ruins' the protein scramble Hannibal gave him with Tabasco 🌶️ among other dishes.
