Visiting Seattle for the first time for a work trip. I didn't know that there was a Sup Pop records store in the airport??? I picked up some reading there!
4 books lined up on a marble countertop. All are volumes from the 33 1/3 series, where each book is by various authors and focused on one album. Left to right, there's the Super Mario Bros soundtrack by Koji Kondo, the Soundtrack from Twin Peaks, Spiderland by Slint, and Selected Ambient Works Volume II by Aphex Twin.

Song of the day. The NES Legacy of the Wizard soundtrack is a lifelong favorite of mine! Pochi's Theme might've been the first time I heard the 12/8 time signature, which I've always loved the feel of.

Maybe not vintage in the same way as many in this thread, but it is about 20 years old. This is the lunchbox edition of Merzbow's album Turmeric, limited to 100 copies.

Just attended @reverbhusky.bsky.social's coffee cupping panel at #texasfurryfiesta and it was great! Thanks for the delicious coffee. Lychee-riffic! Dr. Congo was my favorite, but the lychee process one was a shining star.
Three paper cups labeled "A," "B," and "C" with different coffee grounds in each. There's also two spoons for breaking the crust during the cupping process and a cup of water for rinsing the spoons, preventing cross-contamination between coffees as you taste each.

Snagged a rare and long-coveted Circle of Ouroborus record! Abrahadabra. Love the cover, this will be on my wall sooner or later. One of their best works IMO. Droney shoegaze-adjacent atmospheric metal.
Psychedelic but high-contrast black-and-white art featuring a lot of different things in three panels. Together they make a square, but the middle one is wider than the outer ones. The left one has flowers and floral-looking spirals with a five-petal flower mandala in the bottom left and the band name "Circle of Ouroborus" in the top left. The wide center panel has the face of someone of ambiguous gender in the bottom left, hand to their temple and eyes closed, and many swirling clouds of faces, wings, and other flowing shapes seem to be surrounding and flowing from the person's face. Top left of the middle panel has a gazebo with a crescent moon--dark side up, sliver on the bottom--outside it. Or it's an open window, hard to tell. Top right of the middle panel has the darkest portion of the cover, with spots forming a spiral in darkness. Right panel is a continuation of both of the previous panels more or less, but bottom right has the album title--Abrahadabra--in stylized lettering that emphasizes that the word starts and ends with the letter A (As on either side, flowing left and right), with the remaining letters stacked in three tiers between both tall As.

BF, friends and I are playing Critter Kitchen. All the big bois at one point decided to flock to the Midnight Market.
Four meeples in purple, blue, yellow, and pink are on a cardboard tile representing a shady late-night market location. A green meeple is there too, which is a tiny mouse character. The four big meeples are beefy boar men. I'll let you imagine the rest.

A warm wooden wall is adorned with various stickers. In the foreground there is the dark silhouette of a plant. Stickers include nice comic style art of some radishes and the word "raising," a wide panoramic sticker of a lake flanked by pine trees and green hills, a little Coca-Cola van sticker, and, the focal sticker, the character Spaghett, a strange man from a show who is known for hiding--poorly--behind plants and trying to jump scare people in offices. Usually his attempts end in the people being unsurprised and wondering why he was crouching behind the plant in the first place. He's hiding behind a plant in the sticker, AND the real plant in the foreground. Anyway the coffee here is great, and I got a salted caramel s'mores cookie. DAMN FINE COFFEE.

One thing I want to add; I am seeing niceness and agreeableness lumped together, but they're different too. There's actually empirical research around "agreeableness" as a personality construct. It has 2 subfacets people can independently vary in: compassion (kindness) and politeness (niceness).

My family, BF, and I went to NYC in 2023 (first time for me) to catch Unwound in concert, and we happened upon this delightful little drag queen diner, Peachy Keen. The blue-grey pour over I picked up in Cedar Falls IA from World's Window, a boutique my grandmother used to volunteer at.
