It's clear that Nanako is going through a rough time. While her family may be rich, her parents are now largely absent and have seemingly drifted apart from each other, causing her to long for their old life.

Nanako was indeed putting on a ruse, and predictably Onizuka ended up giving the punks in Class O a taste of rough justice. Still, the charm of a cute high-school girl is too much for him to resist, and he gives in to her again. #gto #greatteacheronizuka #manga

In another long chapter, Onizuka begins teacher training, gets asigned the worst class possible and somehow shows restraint by not punching that punk that spat on him. So, in the last 6 years, he has learned some restraint. #gto #greatteacheronizuka #manga

As with the previous entries in the series, we begin with a bumper extra-long chapter to set the stage. Onizuka has been trying to move on and better himself, but has ended up feeling stuck. #gto #greatteacheronizuka #manga

We return to the world of Shonan Junai Gumi and it's sequel, this time mostly focusing on Eikichi Onizuka and the chaos that ensues as he enters the world of teaching.

This was a good story, and I can clearly understand why it belongs on the Mount Rushmore of romance/slice-of-life manga. One thing that stood out is that it's extremely sincere - it never relies on the 'misunderstanding' trope that powers most in these genres. #manga #touch
We've reached the end, and thankfully, most of the characters seem to get a happy ending. Tatsuya finally confesses his love for Minami in dramatic fashion, but appears to leave baseball behind to focus on his studies now the Koushien adventure is over. #manga #touch
Due to his developing relationship with Sakoto, Tatsuya really doesn't seem to care about Koushien, which is a great shame for the team which has made it so far. Koutarou has a right to be pissed, and it looks like their Koushien berth is ruined. #manga #touch
We're now in the final volume, and we're introduced to the pop idol Sakoto. Tatsuya meets her by pure chance, and the two of them seem to strike up a bond. This is a very interesting turn of events to take place so late in the manga's run. #manga #touch
So Meisei make it to Koushien in the end, with Tatsuya channeling Kazuya's spirit to make it through those last pitches. Taking on Nitta at the end was a risky move, but it paid off, as the Sumi Tech batter indeed fluffed his lines as predicted. #manga #touch
The struggle continues, and it's anybody's game. Almost limping across the line but failing, Nitta's wisdom has seemingly restored Sumi Tech's resolve. With Meisei, Tatsuya has figured out that Kashiwaba can't see, who now finally appears to be behind his team. #manga #touch
Surprisingly, it's not Nitta causing the most trouble for Meisei, but Ookuba. Meisei will have to get the better of him if they wish to win. Tatsuya is seeming to struggle under the pressure of the situation, but Kashiwaba may have successfully fired him back up. #manga #touch
I'm happy Nishio decided to resign permanently as the coach, as it would have been unfair to Kashiwaba even though he may have bad intentions. Even though he knows his successor is the wrong brother, he still gives him his blessing to continue with the team. #manga #touch
Once the three pitchers rotated again, Seinan were able to win easily and proceed to the next round. Kashiwaba still appears to hold nefarious ambitions, even though Meisei are performing incredibly well. At what point will he show his hand? #manga #touch
With the final rounds of the qualifiers ahead and the last chance for Meisei to reach Koushien, Tatsuya has understandably become nervous and unsettled. The pressure is well and truly on; can he fulfil his brother's dream?

It really was a delight to see Yoshida get destroyed and crumble emotionally, embarrassing himself in the process. Hopefully, the young man learnt a valuable lesson, and will become a better person. Thinking he could take down all of Meisei on his own was foolish. #manga #touch
Koutarou was able to make it through with his injury, and hopefully, it isn't a problem for the rest of the qualifiers. The two Kashiwaba brothers really don't seem to get on, so it will be interesting to see what happens when they come face to face. #manga #touch
Kashiwaba made a crazy gambit by making an easy game incredibly hard, but I see some reason behind his thinking. The Yuka situation finally seems to be getting to Minami, but change may be afoot with the good Kashiwaba brother finally on the scene. #manga #touch
