Married mom of 5; some neurospicy and some soldiers and all amazing. Vegan, homeschooling, gardening, pathfinder playing, lgbtqa+, pagan, singing, dancing, nervous wreck.
I grew up with a story how greatgramma left an abusive man, moved states away, then went back to hold him at gun point to get her kid back. How did she marry again with no divorce? Why did he never try to get his kid back? Who the hell was he? Where did he go? Why did she have to move so far?... Oh.

At this point I feel like the headline is just translated to: Document shows what we already knew but nothing will be done about it. I feel validated but also, like, no shit. It's not like Trump isn't already disobeying court decisions and has 34 felonies but served no time .

While I don't disagree somebody has to enforce it. Rules/laws are only as good as the willingness to enforce them.

People are trained not to go against norms to the point that if a person doesn't care about societal pressure they call it a disorder. No body did anything because they were all waiting for someone else to go first. Someone with more "authority".

Keeping it short they land on a protein (dead animal, poo, whatever) and spurt out a solution that breaks proteins down out of their proboscis (long nose) the chems make a slurry of that food source that they then suck back up. Yum.

It would be the first time AI got all the fingers and toes in the right amounts and in the right place. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, I know, but still...

That is really interesting. I will look this up. Thank you.

Mine is just random, a lot with cooking. I can't tell you how unimpressed a boyfriends parents (I was a teen) were when I described how meat tenderizer was similar to flyspit and then went I to detail about the whole fly eating process at the dinner table. And they say we can't read social cues.

I got the dinosaur and video game flavor kids over here. By the way, do you need an in depth description on how a steam engine works and history of American made tractors (thanks Grandpa)? just in case you didn't believe that it's genetic. I'm gonna go back to my boxes of yarn now.

I have a vegan/plant based diet because I have fibromyalgia with IBD and animal protein triggers my bowels to the point of a anal fissure, bleeding hemeroids, + anal prolapse; not including the vomiting. I don't absorb animal protein at all. Nobody business but since the concerned about my health...

Since its okay to ask about my protein I can ask about ur dietary habits. So, How's your magnesium? without enough it can cause mental stuggishness, lack of focus, and mood swings. Do u know how much you get, is it enough, do u think it's appropriate of me to ask u, a stranger? I'm concerned.

You realize your commenting about not asking "for your input" when I posted on a vegan page about a post about a common vegan experience. U replied to me first. If ur really concerned; my proteins are beans, peas, tofu, seitan, nuts. Where do u get all your fiber, are u getting enough? How's ur poo?
February 24, 2025 at 3:19 PM
It's rude. I don't ask someone eating a burger where are they planning to get their fiber. If they wanted to share recipes I'd be cool with that. Or asked me how to get tofu crispy.

I just want to quickly clarify that I did need them, I'm glad I took them. I just strongly believe any medication should be a serious discussion between doctor and patient; not a commercial and the side effects are very real, can be extremely serious, and vary from each person.

Where are all the back the blue and blue lives matter brand republicans. I just want to know how how they're okay with this.

My mother lectured me on eating over processed meat substitutes while (in the process of actively eating, not just eating in general) eating store bought cookies. The kicker is I don't even eat the meat substitutes. I like my beans, peanut butter and tofu just fine.
February 24, 2025 at 12:48 PM
But why do they ask it? I've never seen a vegan randomly asking a meat eater where the get there beta carotine, or their vit. E. It's not like meat eaters forgot beans are edible.

Pagan and same. Fun fact: Jesus was also not a Christian. Not the point but fun to bring up.
