My 2cv too. I loved that car. Couldn’t afford to mend the rusty floor so had to sell to an enthusiast for the grand sum of £75.

I used to go there and camp every May half term. Such happy memories. Hope that lovely campsite is still there.

My daughter had hiccups several times a day, both in utero and afterwards. I always used to think building good strong lungs! She still regularly has hiccups now she’s 16. She’s also an excellent singer with good strong lungs and breath control!

We had a pair last year that seemed to spend most of their time sitting in the road. It’s incredible they didn’t end up squished collared doves but they seem to have raised their family and moved on ok. This year’s pair prefer a tree. I worry about them less.

“I’m making the bed.”

There was a couple of green woodpeckers laughing at each other in Stambourne woods this morning. Love that sound.

There must have been about 6 of them in Stambourne woods last week all shouting at each other and chasing about.

I had one land in my garden very close to said tower earlier this year. So surprised I didn’t get a picture. It was not impressed and quickly left. I do hear them sometimes in the woods behind the house. The cronk is unmistakable.
