I saw them in concert a week or two ago, and she said something similar on stage, that they likely wouldn't tour the US again because they couldn't afford it. This is a woman who's sold twenty million records, so I don't know how anyone else is supposed to manage it.

Observable, the livestream hosted by @labenz.dev, has succeeded it. We wanted the Boring Show to be a place where we could interact as directly as possible with our community, and it doesn't get more direct than a livestream. 😀

Nine years ago, too! So it's not like people haven't thought about it. I wonder why so few UIs seem to be informed by the idea.

I'm no UX expert, but it's alway seemed weird to me that no one creates UI where all the important elements are within thumb reach. Like, FABs were a step in this direction, but every mobile website still has a hamburger icon at the top left or right.

My college roommate was *obsessed* with Angelina Jolie's character in Hackers. He had black and white printouts of scenes from the movie taped over his bed. 😂

Is this one of those fonts where it joins characters? Like, "!=" would become a single symbol rather than an exclamation point and an equals sign next to each other?
