Happy holidays everyone - the perfect time for a feast of gorgeous artwork. Hope you are all having a wonderful day!
"A Wish on Blue Skies" A woman with brilliant red hair stands in the center of an auburn field. She is on the edge of a large body of water, a lake or sea perhaps, staring off at the track of a falling star. Light blue mountains rim the distant horizon; with puffy, pink and white clouds rising high above them. She has on a simple, long black jacket. A blue backpack. And she holds a red thermos in her left hand that matches her hair color. Her gaze follows the track of a comet across the fading evening sky. A spattering of stars dot the sky, which fades from a light blue at the horizon, to a deep indigo at the top of the page as night sets in. "Fey-Wild Ennui" A kitsune woman lays in a field of golden-green grass. Her hair is white, her ears are that of a white-tailed fox and tipped with brown. As are her tails, which also feature matching brown ringlets at the end. She has three tails, that are laid out behind her. She is wearing a flowing cape of black, with ornate gold decorations on the trim. Her eyes are blue as she pears out at the viewer from behind her pulled back hair. Golden shafts of light rain down to illuminate the fey-woman from the back. Casting her in shadow. Behind her, the felid extends off to a set of ancient ruins and columns. The columns fade off into the far distance, appearing to form a deep canyon around the kistsne woman. A meandering river runs from some far patches of trees, from the foot of the ancient ruins and columns. The river cutting across the field. "Sailing Stone" A craggy landscape scattered with old, eroded boulders. Mossy green grass grows over the rocks and crevices. The grass meets a coastline of a sea shallow sea. Great white stone cliffs of a mountain face rise behind the edge of the coast. Stark sunlight creates long shadows and bright spots of golden illumination on the craggy landscape. A stone path curves through the mossy-grass field. A lone warrior or traveler stands just off of the path, staring off towards the horizon, over the gray, shallow sea. He has a large halbert hefted on his shoulder, and is mostly in shadow. The warrior is staring out at the "Sailing Stone" - a large, floating monolith. It appears like an elongated stone egg - an off-white stone color, with hints of blue in the shadow. It has an opening at the base, with some other small paneling set into the face of the Sailing Stone, and around the top section. It hovers above the shallow sea, alien yet ancient and familiar. A relic of some ancient civilization, long since lost. "Red Thunder, Darjeeling" A tea study. The frame is mostly dark mahogany, almost black shadow. In the lefts third of the page, a stained-glass electric wall-lamp illuminates the corner of a small table. The lamplight is a rich, golden-yellow. The table is circular and sits right up against the wall under the lamp. On the table is a tea-tray. The tray holds a simple, yet elegant umber tea pot. The pot is a traditional Chinese tea pot, squat and round with a simple grip for the thumb and a short wide spout. Two cups of tea sit before the tea pot, on the tray. The cups are also simple handcrafted clay cups. Short, squat, and round. The outside is the same clay as the tea pot, the inside stained a white ceramic finish. One of the cups is empty, already finished or not yet poured. The other one is full, welcoming you to sit down and contemplate.

Old Bones From Whalefall
A set of concept pieces I did for a college game project, called Hollow Reef. Never went beyond the planning phases, but I loved how the world was starting to come together.

A contemplative tea study.
Autumn Darjeeling, "Red Thunder". Rich, dark-wood greets your lips, touched with the gentle breath of wild mountain air. All fresh and bright notes fade, leaving a lingering, nutty aromatic aftertaste.
