Last term, Worthing Red Balloon learners travelled by train and underground to visit the London Science Museum to explore its fascinating exhibits. The journey itself was an adventure, filled with teamwork, card games and curiosity. At the museum, they explored the History of Medicine.

At Red Balloon Aylesbury, learners have been enjoying playing games of Scrabble, where they have been expanding their vocabulary. Another favourite has been 'League of the Lexicon.' Learners have engaged in the joy of reading books such as 'Thursday Murder Club' and 'The Summer I Turned Pretty.'

Our learners have been hard at work at Red Balloon Aylesbury!
They have enjoyed making pizzas and cupcakes, and all the herbs added to their lunches come from their garden. They also have been focusing on healthy eating and are encouraging students to eat and drink during breaks.

We are grateful for the kindness and steadfast support she so generously gave as a patron of Red Balloon. Her encouragement and belief in creating a better world lives on in the work we do with young people every day.

We were very sorry to learn of the passing of Dr Jane Goodall.
Red Balloon was fortunate enough to receive a grant from Dr Goodall's charity, Roots & Shoots, many years ago. It was an incredible asset in reaching young people in Merseyside who needed us, and we are forever grateful.
