VRChat is a company that's raised nearly $100mil in funding. I'm a single person. This was not an incident of VRChat not knowing what we want. This was VRChat testing the waters to see how much we're willing to give them for nothing. That's why I'm upset and being upset got them to reverse this.

Interesting. That's news to me. As long as it's not unchecked vibe coding it should be okay, but only time will tell.

Not that I'm aware of. Last time I installed workstation at all default settings, it was just the Gnome desktop env with only basic tools.

I would say comparing Fedora spins to Ubuntu flavors is an accurate comparison, but I haven't touched Ubuntu in a while I have no idea what they're doing.

Oh definitely and agreed. Knowing valve, the user experience is going to be top notch. Depending on the final price, this will most likely be the standard headset to get when it's available replacing the quest platform.

I think for me, there's just not enough there to justify me upgrading from my Quest Pro.
