Additionally, this new Coromandel line gives me nightmares. It has the same folded shape as the ribbons used to represent Breast Cancer awareness. There must've been a better i could have done that...

Regardless, now i can focus on the top of the north island, then i can move onto the south island.

I've made some progress on New Zealand's train network, some key changes are the expansion of a few lines, and the addition of 4 new lines! I keep wanting to make more criss-crossing lines on the east coast, however there are about 8 or so, people living there.

I promise you, better rail infrastructure is possible!!

This is a map of the metro and regional train network in my state of Victoria here in Australia, it's currently getting an expansion in fact!

We only have ~6.7 million people, so the US is very capable of getting a big network!!

Very cool train!!! My fav is the High Capacity Metro Train, HCMT, it fits 1,800 people at crush capacity and it's fully electric!! It runs on the Australian City of Melbourne's metro network.

The first, of maybe many, updates on my progress to give new zealand the public transportation i wish it had.

There are 27 lines, running 394 trains.

The game is called NIMBY rails, and it's on steam. It's early access and a great deal of fun.

I am exclusively using the HCMT, my favourite train
