Similarly I was astonished to learn how big Joe Rogan's audience is. My 25 year old nephew listens in good faith. The simple, nastier ideas are an easier sell. What do we do?

I mean it sounds good but Lorde's verse on Girl is outstanding. Probably too much to ask for her to show up as well.

We haven't had a working aerial for about 15 years, so don't have linear TV. Everything we watch is essentially curated. The communal experience you describe, plus beautiful accidental discoveries is something I feel my children have really missed out on.
