Valid point, however it could be argued that by doing so you erase the mother in the picture to focus on the father, thereby making it sound like the mother isn't as important to a child as the father. Which I get isn't the point you're making.

I'd reason it's more to do with the documents being short and giving context to the environment of the game, meaning they're easier to digest for non readers, whereas the only context in a novel is more text to read which could burn out someone not used to reading.

It does call for the dodge during the sillydillo fight but not explicitly and I don't think it mentions the perfect dodge damage bonus as it slows down time as the boss is rolling towards you

I noticed this too with Deus Ex human revolution being listed as "informational" because it contained transhumanism and cybernetic augmentation, yet the other Deus Ex games didn't get flagged for it, and other games with cybernetics didn't get the same flag

I had no idea this existed and now I'm doom scrolling the list to see if I can first, figure out what "woke" is, and second, see what the funniest entry is, so far it's "I got BLACKMAILED by a FUTANARI!" woke because it contains a hermaphroditic character.

I'm not a writer so I don't know how writers go about the, probably quite hard, task of making a conversation read like one and not just exposition. But if I was to try, I'd start by trying to imitate how people around me speak, which was my logic behind the reply.

I hadn't thought about it until you mentioned it but me and my friends say each other's names a lot in conversation, and most commonly directly to the person. Going by the other comments it seems like you may have revealed some regional idiosyncrasy
