Mom of two wonderful kids. Loves building custom furniture from beautiful northwest woods while finding time to swim and practice biochemistry.
This basement walnut table for our only TV was one of my first pieces. It was completed when the kids were little, playing with lots of cars, puzzles, trains and blocks. The legs are attached via mortise and tenon and the back is designed to keep toys from falling.

Mom and Dad’s walnut table base. I grew up surrounded by trees and parents who enjoyed buying wood furniture. When they retired a second time back in the US, we walked into IKEA and they gave me this look that I’ll never forget.

My favorite piece made it Ballard woodworks with some guidance from Tom. Features tapered legs, curved front, strip of Bolivian Rosewood, curly maple, and a soft close.
