worked on implementing the facebook passthrough extension for my openxr api layer, surprisingly painless to implement the important parts.
out of the box, it works with the grand total of: Blender
as expected, many unity applications enable the extension but don't actually support using it

pleasantly surprised to find that the USB HID camera controls page just works on android (and even the camera apps). thanks to whomever added this to the linux HID driver (very nice to be able to look the source code on it to see which pages are mapped to inputs)

spent the whole day getting all the i2c peripherals playing nicely. who thought it was a good idea to have the pisugar pull the i2c bus up to 5v?! have to use three buses in total but everything works now
