With that reasoning, many people in Congress would not serve, but the fact of the matter is, I would love to know of a single seating member of Congress that isn’t wealthier when they leave office then when they came in. Believe whatever you want, but most of them grift off of their position.

Good. Still would love to see financial disclosures for all politicians. For the record, I am not a George critic… but pretty much all politicians seem to build personal fortunes in public service - which makes no sense.

Or maybe it’s just for more wealth. I will believe that it’s not if you champion members of Congress trading stocks and full disclosure of your personal finances before during and after office to include all investments linked to the stock market.
